Online Drippers
Description
Brief introduction to online drippers:
Online drippers are one of the key components in drip irrigation systems. They are individually installed on main or secondary pipes and are designed to provide precise irrigation directly to the root zone of plants such as trees, potted plants, and shrubs.
Types of online drippers based on performance
1. Non-Pressure Compensating
Features:
- It does not have a fixed output flow rate, and the water discharge varies with changes in water pressure.
- Suitable for flat terrains with uniform pressure
- Lower cost compared to the pressure-compensating type
Application:
- Irrigation of landscape plants, gardens, and small-scale crops.
2. Pressure Compensating – PC
Features:
- Constant flow rate even with pressure variations (typically between 1 to 8 bar)
- Equipped with a silicone diaphragm for flow regulation
- Suitable for sloped terrains or systems with variable pressure
Application:
- Irrigation of fruit trees, vineyards, and precision crops
This type of dripper is produced in two models: PC and PCND. In the PCND model, the dripper not only compensates for pressure but also has an anti-drip feature.
